Summer Youth Camps – Letter from the Director
Welcome to the 2015 camp season! As the Director of Continuing Education, I want to welcome you to our beautiful campus. This summer we are pleased to offer 33 camps, for students entering grades 1-12, during the weeks of June 22-26 and June 29-July 3. This summer we are bringing back our most popular camps as well as offering several new camps, including digital arts, music, co-ed basketball, creative science, and many more.
Our Continuing Education staff is dedicated to providing a safe, educational and fun camp experience for your child. Each summer we review our camp’s policies and procedures and institute any changes to better ensure the well-being of our campers. All of our instructors, camps aides, and volunteers receive training and information about their responsibilities and expectations, and all are required to pass reference and background checks, including a criminal background check and child abuse check. Our instructors and staff members supervise campers throughout their entire day on campus. During the day, campers are escorted and supervised to and from all destinations. If you have any concerns, feel free to contact me or visit Information for Parents.
We invite you to call us at 570-675-9253 for further assistance or to get answers to any questions you may have about our program. Enrollment is limited in all of our camps to ensure a quality learning experience for everyone involved. We encourage you to register early.
