Adult Learners invited to Information Session
Penn State Wilkes-Barre will host an information session for adult students at its Kingston Center location in the Wyoming Valley West Middle School on Thursday, February 20, 2003 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The session will focus on adults who wish to earn credit certificates or a baccalaureate degree part-time in the evening without disrupting their daily work schedule. Credits earned in the certificate programs can serve as an introduction to the major, and may be used to satisfy course requirements in an associate or baccalaureate degree program. Credit certificates are available in business administration, management, or leadership; information sciences and technology; management information systems; administration of justice; and letters, arts, and sciences.
The campus offers the opportunity to pursue baccalaureate degrees part-time in Business (BSB), Administration of Justice (AOJ), and Information Sciences and Technology (IST). To further accommodate working adults, some courses are taught at a comfortably accelerated pace.
