Understanding Internet Security workshops offered

"Understanding Internet Security" is a new course developed by Penn State Wilkes-Barre to introduce security topics every information technology professional should consider in daily operations. The course will enable the participant to become aware of IT related security issues, protection from attacks, how to respond to attacks and display what is needed for effective security policy. It is designed for individuals who want to enhance their knowledge of computer security and computer networking basics. Prospective students should possess the basic knowledge of networking implementations, internet technologies and computer fundamentals.

"Understanding Internet Security" will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 PM from April 8 - 17, at Penn State Wilkes-Barre in Lehman. For more information, call Ina Lubin at 570-675-9251.
