Poverty Has a Face

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre Campus Environment Team is hosting a Poverty Awareness Meal for faculty, staff, and students on Thursday, November 9th in the Commons Chalet Room. Proceeds will benefit the Back Mountain Food Pantry.

Participants will be randomly placed into a socio-economic group and eat a meal reflecting that economic standing: upper, middle, or deprived.
