Re-lax-ation Week in the Commons
“Relax, Be Safe, and Have Fun!” is the theme during Relaxation Week in the Student Commons building starting Monday, December 11. The Student Health Club, campus Health Services, Student Activities, and the Campus Environment Team invite students, faculty, and staff to participate in a fun-filled week featuring different activities each day.
On Monday and Tuesday, create your own masterpiece in the form of a necklace, bracelet, or earrings with Bead Magic jewelry supplies while you indulge in a delicious assortment of cookies, complements of the Back Mountain churches. On Thursday and Friday sample a variety of hot teas, hot chocolate, and "party safe" winter mocktails, and enjoy a massage (see Nurse Linda for sign-up). Re-lax-ation Week wraps up on Friday, December 15, when the campus environment team will provide healthy snacks including fresh fruit, granola, and fruit & vegetable juices.
