Classroom
   
Dr. Steven D. Putzel, associate professor of English, teaches students in the former dining room of Hayfield House. The fireplace in the rear of the classroom is engraved with images of some of the animals that lived on Hayfield Farm, such as Highland cattle, Clydesdale horses, Chester White pigs, sheep, and a variety of unusual animals, including buffalo, Sardinian donkeys, and rams.
